We are establishing measures to keep our guests, the people who work with us, and the island community safe once we reopen. We are part of the Good to Go Scheme which acts as a guarantee that we have completed risk assessments and will be following government guidelines for cleaning protocols. For more info please go to our Covid 19 page. We will be asking guests to BYO sheets, towels, bathmat and T towels and to clean the property with provided cleaning materials before departure so that we can safely come in to clean for the next guests. For the next 2 months, where possible, we are leaving 72 hours between bookings for your health and safety.

An Lionadh is a large 4 bedroom (sleeps 8 +2) self catering holiday house on the western shore of Easdale Island on Scotland's wild West Coast, 25 minutes drive from Oban and a short ferry ride from Ellenabeich. Offering comfortable accommodation with stunning sea views from all windows and the sea literally a stone's throw away, it is a totally unique holiday home.  An Lionadh means 'flowing of the tide' or 'replenishing'. this speaks volumes....

The View

The view from An Lionadh will take your breath away!
The Atlantic ocean, peppered with 13 islands including Luing, Scarba, Jura, Islay, Colonsay, the Garvellachs and Mull, has been described as 'the best view on the West Coast'. It is transfixing, in all weathers, and before long you will become absorbed!
Prepare for your perception of time to change.......

The Island

Easdale from the big hill, a great walk!

The no car island of Easdale is located 16 miles south of the bustling harbour town of Oban, yet Easdale couldn't be further removed. Step off the foot ferry onto this Island and you are in a world of no cars, roads, street lights, or shops. There is however a pub! Encircled by the Atlantic Ocean, you will become hypnotised by the sea and the fantastic wild life the area has to offer. The perfect antidote to modern life. An Lionadh is in a stunning location on what is known as the 'back shore' looking out to the Atlantic.

The Beach

The only thing separating you from the sea is an 'infinity' lawn, and a stoney beach, covered in the famous Easdale slate which has been rounded by the sea and shines with Fools gold.
