The house

Picture
An Lionadh (the big white house in the centre of the photo) is a large 4 bedroom (sleeps 8 +2) self catering holiday house on the western shore of Easdale Island on Scotland's wild West Coast. Offering a high standard of accommodation,  An Lionadh means 'flowing of the tide' or 'replenishing'. this speaks volumes....

The view

Picture
The view from An Lionadh will take your breath away! The Atlantic ocean, peppered with 13 islands including Luing, Scarba, Jura, Islay, Colonsay, the Garvellachs and Mull, has been described as 'the best view on the West Coast'. It is transfixing, in all weathers, and before long you will become absorbed! Prepare for your perception of time to change.......

The island

Picture
The no car island of Easdale is located 16 miles south of the bustling harbour town of Oban, yet Easdale couldn't be further removed. Step off the foot ferry onto this Island and you are in a world of no cars, roads, street lights, or shops. There is however a pub! Encircled by the Atlantic Ocean, you will become hypnotised by the sea and the fantastic wild life the area has to offer. The perfect antidote to modern life.

The beach

The only thing separating you from the sea is an 'infinity' lawn, and a stoney beach, covered in the famous Easdale slate which has been rounded by the sea and shines with Fools gold.
